Next Class of Laudato Si’ Animators Starting late March

    posted on March 11, 2020

The Global Catholic Climate Movement is now accepting applications for the next class of Laudato Si’ Animators to start on March 23.

The program provides in-depth training on creation care for people from all backgrounds and walks of life – to become champions of Catholic action on climate change.

Sessions include 4 one-hour webinars culminating in a final “project” during Laudato Si’ Week (May 16-24). Goals of the training include:

    • Learn the concepts of Laudato Si’ and how it fits Catholic social teaching.
    • Understand the causes and consequences of climate change.
    • See how you are connected to the climate crisis and the movement to resolve it.
    • Practice the skill of community leadership.
    • Connect to your calling to bring Laudato Si’ to life.
    • Dedicate yourself to hearing the cry of the earth and the poor as you step into deeper action for the future.
