JUMP TO: Events | Guides & Resources | Prayer & Liturgy | Trees | Past Years
September 1 – October 4, 2023

From September 1 (World Day of Prayer for Creation) to October 4 (Feast of St. Francis) each year, the Catholic Church joins with other faith traditions to celebrate the Season of Creation by praying and acting together to protect our common home.
The 2023 worldwide theme is “Let Peace and Justice Flow”. Prophet Amos cries out “But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!” (Amos 5: 24). We are called to join the river of justice and peace, to take up climate and ecological justice, and to speak out with and for communities most impacted by climate injustice and the loss of biodiversity.
